What You Can Try
- Move your router to a central location, elevated off the floor, and away from thick concrete walls or fish tanks.
- Switch to the 5GHz band for faster speeds at close range, or 2.4GHz for better range through walls.
- Keep the router away from microwaves, baby monitors, and cordless phones that cause signal noise.
- Restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds.
- Disconnect devices you aren't actively using.
- If possible, switch to a wired Ethernet connection for critical tasks.
